I’ve always known I wanted a career in entertainment. My early focus was on TV/film production but eventually my career led me to influencer marketing. And then eventually, I realized talent management was the perfect way to bridge my love of entertainment with my passion for collaboration and creating community impact.
What I love most about being a manager is advocating for creatives and supporting the behind-the-scenes logistics (yes, including all the emails!), while also building lasting relationships with brands, agencies, and partners. Together, these allow talent to focus on creating and set them up for long-term success.
What is your favorite Beacons for Managers platform feature? What would you recommend every manager using Beacons be sure take advantage of?
Our team has been using Beacons for 3+ years, and it’s quickly become an essential tool for staying organized and presenting our creators to brands efficiently and professionally.
My favorite feature is the ability to create and share media kits and rosters. The shareable links include all the info a brand might need, from bios and social links to location and audience demos, and the browser extension makes it even easier! #soclutch
What makes it even better is that the Beacons team is genuinely amazing and fun to work with. They care about people and community, not just the product.
What's the most exciting creator trend you're seeing right now?
The most exciting trend I’m seeing is creators increasingly focusing on community building and authenticity. From a Gen Z perspective, those who curate shared experiences and openly share authentic moments in their lives are resonating the most. We see this through direct-to-camera content, hosted meet-up events, and vulnerable storytelling. Building genuine connections online is challenging, but creators who lean into relatability and embrace their authentic selves are standing out, engaging with audiences in meaningful ways.
What's a hot take you have about the business of brand deals right now?
Hot take: Even in a digital-first world, meeting in person to close a deal can make it stronger. Gen Z might live online, but sitting down for a coffee or catching up at an event helps managers, brands, and creators better understand each other’s goals. In ways email can’t, that extra bit of connection builds trust and makes the deal-making process feel smoother, more genuine, and more collaborative.
Are you interested in connecting with other managers? How can the community support you at this time?
Yes! I’m open to connecting with other managers - having a community to share ideas and resources makes the work and our industry even stronger! I’m always open to meeting creators, brands, agencies, and partners and further partnering if it feels like a great fit for both sides.
I’m especially interested in meeting brand partners or industry folks keen to curate and attend in-person moments for our community, since I believe those connections strengthen our space. Whether it’s grabbing a sweet treat, the next pickleball event, or planning one collaboratively! I’d love to keep building relationships that help everyone succeed.
